Tools & boosters

Undo the mistake—or change the board?

The official listing identifies Undo and Shuffle as available tools. Their value depends on the problem you are solving: a bad last move or a board with too little access.

Use Undo when…

  • You can name the move that removed your last flexible space.
  • A pour buried the only accessible copy of a needed color.
  • You noticed a stronger destination immediately after moving.

Best question: “What was better one move ago?”

Consider Shuffle when…

  • No short sequence exposes the colors you need.
  • The useful matches are buried across several mixed bottles.
  • Undoing one move would not repair the underlying layout.

Best question: “Is the whole position the problem?”

Run this check before spending a tool

  1. Find the target colorChoose the color closest to a complete bottle or most likely to release space.
  2. Trace two movesIf one temporary parking move exposes it safely, you may not need a booster.
  3. Identify the failureA known last-move error points to Undo; a locked layout points toward Shuffle.
  4. Inspect the resultAfter using a tool, recount empty and semi-flexible positions before moving again.

Tool availability is based on the official store description. Exact limits, costs, and effects can vary by version, so this guide does not hard-code them.
