How to play Magic Sort

Move colored liquid between bottles until every occupied bottle holds one color. The challenge is not speed—it is keeping enough working space to expose the colors you need.

The pour ruleA destination must have room, and its top must be empty or the same color as the source top.

Your four-step turn

  1. Read the two top colorsOnly the color touching the mouth of each bottle is available. Buried colors cannot move yet.
  2. Check the destinationIt needs at least one open segment and must be empty or show the same color on top.
  3. Tap source, then destinationThe connected top block pours across until the match, capacity, or source stack ends.
  4. Finish single-color bottlesThe puzzle is complete when every occupied bottle contains only one color.

Check a move

Use the same two questions the game uses: do the colors match, and is there room?

Three beginner mistakes

Filling the last empty bottle

A full board may leave no place to uncover a buried stack.

Merging every visible pair

A matching move can still trap a more valuable color underneath.

Building on a mixed base

A long tower looks tidy but may make its lower colors harder to reach.
